Tablescape Design & Styling, creating unforgettable experiences

This service is for couples who want more than just a pretty setup, they want their wedding to feel like them in every detail. Together, we’ll create a styling concept that tells your story and creates an atmosphere that’s layered, romantic and immersive.

I’ll help you bring together all the visual elements that shape the guest experience, from florals, furniture, candles, linen, crockery, cutlery, vessels and more. We will carefully select each piece to compliment your venue, colours, and mood,. Whether you're envisioning moody elegance, soft garden romance or something completely unique, we will create an unforgettable experience.

ON THE DAY STYLING

On the Day Styling - when you have all your styling elements sorted but need a hand to execute the set up on the day. When your day arrives, I’ll be there with my team to place and bring together every detail with care, setting up linens (we even steam the table cloths for you), menus, candles, any other styling elements that complete your table and spaces so when you walk in, it’s everything you imagined, effortlessly beautiful and designed just for you.

At the end of the night we come back to pack down all the styling elements for you.

Why do we offer this service? We want our couples and their family and friends to enjoy their day and night, without the stresses and worry of setting up on the day.

  • Tablescape Design & Styling

    • Initial phone consultation or face to face meeting to discuss your overall vision and desired aesthetic.

    • Then we take away all the information you have provided to us and we put together a design aesthetic for you by means of a mood board with suggested colours and all elements/vendor suggestions required to bring together a beautifully curated look just for you.

    • Unlimited emails / calls

    • We liaise with all styling vendors

    • On the day of your wedding we will be there to set up all your styling elements.

    • Vendor communication

    • 2 x stylists

    • 3 month, 6 week and 3 week check in.

    • Pack down - our team comes back at the conclusion of the night to pack down all the styling elements.

    On The Day Styling

    • Initial phone conversation or in person visit to discuss the styling elements you need us to set up on the day for you.

    • Unlimited emails and phone calls.

    • 2 week check in to confirm all items etc

    • Myself and my team will arrive to set up all your styling elements for you taking away any stresses from you so you can walk in and everything is perfectly set for you.

how does the process work?

01. Initial Inquiry

Complete the enquiry form on our website to provide initial details about your wedding or corporate event needs & Styling Services. Within 48 hours we will be in contact with you to confirm our availability and provide a booking link to start our consultation process.

02. Consultation

We would love to have a chat with you to discuss your florals and/or Styling requirements. This is where we like to find out all about your special day and your vision. This is a complimentary call.

03. Proposal and Mood Board

Based on our consultation, we’ll create a bespoke proposal for you and initial mood board. Review our proposal and mood board, and let us know if any adjustments are needed, otherwise if all looks good we will then prepare the booking process.

04. Booking in your florals & design/on the day styling

Once you’re happy with our proposal we will send you the booking documents, including a contract and payment details. A 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Once payment is received then you are all booked in and you now have flowers etc crossed off your list.

faq’s

  • We are based in Melbourne Victoria, just at the beginning of the Mornington Peninsula. We travel to the Yarra Valley, all over Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and throughout Tasmania.

  • We currently flower weddings throughout Melbourne and Tasmania. Our Design and On The Day Styling is in Melbourne only. If you live outside of Melbourne and would like to enquire about either services please do so, we would still love to hear from you.

    NB. Travel fees for weddings andon the day styling will apply - flights, accommodation, car hire and fuel will be added to your quote.

  • At Blooms by Mel Floral Styling we dedicate our full attention to each client throughout the floral process along with our Design and On The Day Styling, hence we only take on a limited amount of bookings per year. We recommend reaching out as soon as you're ready, ideally 9 months to 1 year before your wedding date. If your wedding is approaching soon and you are still yet to book your florist or On The Day Styling please reach out and we can see if we have your date available.

  • Yes of course you can.

    We offer Tablescape Design and On The Day Styling as an added extra to our floral services.

  • At Blooms by Mel we are dedicated to sustainable practices to ensure our floral designs are eco-friendly. Whilst we are not 100% sustainable we are working hard by doing the following:-

    1. Sourcing flowers locally and seasonally from our farmers, at times we may have to import flowers depending on the clients requests but we try to offer an alternative first.

    2. Discarding the use of the green floral foam.

    3. Using recyclable wrapping

    4. When we create our designs we use different types of wire as part of our mechanics and re-use the wire for future arrangements.

    By incorporating these practices, we ensure your wedding is both beautiful and environmentally responsible.
